You can easily drive from one river valley to the other between Westernhausen and Forchtenberg. It's not necessarily an MTB route, but it's a good alternative in the warm season because it's not particularly steep.

´This is really an alternative to change the river valleys. Moderate incline, but it is a bit dragging. Definitely a good and not too strenuous opportunity in summer.
