The port of Kappeln is a great place to linger. You can either watch the ships passing the bridge, admire the herring catch or sit down in a nice café. The town offers shopping opportunities and a lovely pedestrian passage.

Very nice bike paths along the Schlei. In Arnis, it is worth making a detour on foot along a narrow path behind the houses between the gardens and the marina

The bridge always opens at a quarter to. Can be found beautiful (looks impressive, you can take photos) or not (long lines of cars and bikes)
