The visitor center provides information for your excursion into the wilderness. It also houses a bookstore and a natural history museum. Idyllically situated directly on the banks of the Sihl River, the grounds feature an otter enclosure, fire pits, and a wilderness playground.

The visitor center is interesting. The forest adventure trail that starts here is also highly recommended.
