    In order to do justice to the tourist flows on the second highest mountain in Saxony, the first inn on the Auersberg opened in 1907. Because King Friedrich August III. so angry about the little inn, it was expanded in 1914. Today the Auersberghaus is Saxony's highest hotel. Opening times spring / summer Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sat - Sun 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. auersberghaus.de/index.php

                                        One of the checkpoints of the Stoneman Miriquidi is on the Auersberg. If you are not currently on a gold tour and are therefore in a hurry, you should definitely take the unique view from the accessible tower with you and possibly also stop at the adjacent inn, it is definitely worth it.
