Located to the south of the village, formerly called Porte Sainte Anne, it took the name of Saint Mathurin following the construction of the chapel of the same name.
The Porte Saint Mathurin has undergone many changes over time (notably in 1842 and 1879), but however, the ogival arch is believed to be original.
The construction of the Saint Mathurin chapel was decided by Dyonise de Tillon, lady of Maridort, its first holder having been Jacques Grandin in 1575.
Inside you can find:
The altar table which is an incised tombstone from the 14th or 15th century. It is illustrated by a full-length representation of a deceased woman under a canopy of Gothic architecture.
Two statues: Sainte Emérentienne (in terracotta from the 18th century) and Saint Mathurin (in wood from the 16th or 17th century)
The altar is surrounded by an oak frame decorated with two escutcheons of the Maridort as well as the top of the vault (three sheaves of golden wheat on an azure field).
