The present von Arnimsche manor Brandenstein was built in 1900. The building is structured in many ways and equipped with elements of Art Nouveau. The eastern front is single-storey, has a mansard roof and is divided by a central risalit that ends with a loggia in a gable top. On the south side, a square corner tower with hipped roof has been added to the east. The two-storey west front with hipped roof is dominated by a roof-reaching reaching arch with outside staircase. In the northern part of a three-sided also two-storey bay window is built. The property includes the neo-Baroque Gutskapelle with octagonal floor plan with curved dome roof and wooden lantern.

The von Arnim family is still a landlord in Brandenstein, where they mainly deal with forestry. The Brandenstein manor house served as a state children's home during this period. In 1992 Bernd von Arnim bought the Brandenstein manor house and the 1250 hectare Brandensteiner Forest back from the district. In the manor house, which was extensively renovated, he set up the forest administration, which has since been one of the largest employers in the region.
