Modern interim measuring devices can be used along the regatta course, which provide the necessary overview of the development of the race in real time. In order to be able to assess the finish line exactly, the Cologne Regatta Association has a modern, digital photo-finish camera, which shows even the smallest time intervals at the finish and thus ensures an exact result evaluation.

Furthermore, a bubbling waterline supports the spectators, who thanks to this technology can follow the finish line even from an unfavorable angle.
