The ILE * Freizeitstempelstelle 14 "Bahnhof Börßum" is located opposite the historic train station. It is freely accessible. Currently (05-2021) unfortunately the stamp plate is missing.

Centrally located in the old historical train station is the administration of the Oderwald municipality. It is the smallest joint municipality in the Wolfenbüttel district.
As of September 30, 2018, 6,815 residents were registered in the Oderwald municipality.
It consists of 6 communities with 11 districts and the area of the combined community area is 89.02 km² and consists of the member communities:
- Börßum with the districts Achim, Börßum, Bornum, Kalme and Seinstedt
- Cramme
- Dorstadt
- Flöthe with the districts Groß Flöthe and Klein Flöthe
- Heiningen
- Ohrum
