Anyone entering the "Museum for Time" in Rockenhausen in the Palatinate has the feeling from the outside that they are going on a journey through time. A former farm from the 18th century houses the Museum of Time - Pfälzisches Turmuhrenmuseum. If we did not know better, we would actually have to feel transported back into the world of the Baroque. If there were not the big clock tower that welcomes us and houses a clock that is anything but yesterday's: the most technologically advanced and accurate astronomical clock in Europe. In the interior of the building - how could it be otherwise - hammering, tapping and ticking the gear mechanisms of numerous tower clocks and small exhibits ceaselessly.
