So it's not that bad either. If you master S2, you will spend about 15% -20% of the distance in the saddle, the rest is pushing and sometimes also (uncomfortable) carrying. In total, it takes about 1-1.5 hours to get to the Schwarzboden or the Hinteren Tarrentonalm. But yes, the section is not for pleasure bikers, this is actually hard-earned biker bread and certainly not recommended for everyone (by the way, no fun in the opposite direction) !!

At this point I decided to turn back because the path is not drivable. You would have to carry / push your bike for at least another 1.5 hours to get to the Alm.
