The Eschacher Weiher is beautifully situated in a slight depression at 1000 meters! At this altitude and because of the optimal location, sheltered from the wind, unique !! The racing cyclist, however, must satisfy this great view because:

To get to the shore, you have to go from the main road (at the parking lot, which is also the photo location) about 350 meters over a dirt road down to the pond. Unfortunately, the second access via Eschach and Steckenried is also not suitable for racing: in front of the pond there is still a gravel road of 300 meters!

The Eschacher Weiher is a real highlight for mountain bikers and hikers! With a wonderful beach for bikini fans and discretely separate area with naturists! Without rescue service! Have fun!

As an alternative, I took the signposted cycle path from Weitnau to Seltmans. It's quieter and more beautiful 😀. Otherwise great tour! Thank you 🙏 !!
