The Olympic Tower, at 291 meters tall, is Munich's tallest structure, a prominent landmark of the Olympic Park, and a popular television tower. Built for the 1972 Olympic Games, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the city stretching to the Alps. An elevator whisks visitors to a height of over 180 meters in just 30 seconds. Constructed in the late 1960s (and inaugurated in 1968), the tower is now a listed historical monument. An annual stair-climbing event, the "OlympiaTowerRun," challenges participants to ascend the tower's 1,020 steps.

With a total height of 291.28 meters, the Olympic Tower is not only the tallest building but also one of the city's most famous landmarks. The observation deck at an altitude of 190 meters offers the widest and most spectacular panoramic view of the city and far beyond the borders of Munich.

The viewing platform is at a height of 192 m. From here you have a gigantic view of Munich to the Alps when the weather is nice
The elevator takes you to the top at a speed of 7m / s. You can then enjoy the fantastic view on three viewing platforms (1x inside and 2x outside).
