        During the Battle of Nations in October 1813, both the population and the buildings of Stünz were affected. On the night of 18-19 October 1813, where the Stünzer pond was later laid out, the Prussian Landwehr under Major Carl Friccius rested before the storm on Leipzig. On the night of 18-19 October 1813, where the Stünzer pond was later laid out, the Prussian Landwehr under Major Carl Friccius rested before the storm on Leipzig. This is reminiscent of the Apelstein No. 43 today. Already a year later, the damage was largely eliminated. The place now had 180 inhabitants in 18 houses. Stünz was until 1856 in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon district office Leipzig. From 1856 the place belonged to the judicial office Leipzig I and from 1875 to the Amtshauptmannschaft Leipzig.
