It was a local initiative, which upon completion was greeted with "Long live the Kiltunnel" banners. Keep the Kiltunnel safe and available. That is the core task of the Wegschap Tunnel Dordtse Kil. There is a lot involved. For example, there are dozens of traffic and tunnel technical installations in the Kiltunnel, varying from fire extinguishing systems to a public address system and from ventilation to lighting.
