Kaysersberg with its many half-timbered houses, its historic center and its castle ruins high above the city has a great charm.
The fortified Weissbrücke was built in 1514 from red sandstone to repel from the Weiss coming attackers. From the bridge you have a very nice view of the city and the castle

The village of Kaysersberg is one of the most characteristic villages in Alsace included in the famous Wine Route, a jewel of rare medieval beauty, set among hills covered with enchanting vines.
Despite the 820 meters of altitude, an excellent Pinot Grigio is produced here, the undisputed protagonist of the area and of many local events.
The town also boasts the title of City of Flowers: the meticulous attention to detail of balconies, gardens and windows always leaves visitors speechless, enchanted at every corner by the beauty of a medieval center perfectly preserved and enhanced in every aspect.
