The castle complex with a height of approx. 510 m offers a view from the Rhön, Vogelsberg, Alsfeld, Schwalm, Kellerwald to the heights of the Sauerland. To the north is the Rimberg, which seems to be within reach with its 591 m, in the east you can look up to the Rennsteig (Thuringian Forest).
