The Velospur is a good alternative to the busy road. Here partially an old track bed was replaced by a well asphalted way. Rarely (especially on weekends) this is also used by pedestrians.

Insider tip: The cycle path between Heimberg and Thun runs through Steffisburg. Right next to the cycle path is the charming Schüür restaurant schüür.be, nestled in the beautiful Burgergut area. It is worth taking a break here and enjoying a refreshing drink on the sunny terrace.
