The Schillerhaus is a small former farmhouse in the Leipzig Gohlis district. Friedrich Schiller lived on the upper floor of the house in the summer of 1785. Today it is a museum and you can visit exhibitions there.
The building was built in 1717, it is the oldest surviving farmhouse on Leipzig soil. Br. Schiller stayed here in 1785, where he wrote the first version of the poem "To the Joy".
