Great singletrack, which begins after the motorway through to Pegnitz. The first few hundred meters lead uphill past the Voithölle, then it goes downhill towards Schlossberg at Pegnitz. The spout at Schlossberg can be varied, as the mountain is surrounded by many trails. The difficulty is S0, let it run, the skill is challenged.

Very nice trail to be driven without major difficulties S0. Flowy it goes through the forest, not a pure descent, past various rocks, but please watch out for hikers. Real fun. Follow the marking "Franconian Mountain Trail".

But you need some power in your calves if you want to ride the many beautiful trails on the Schloßberg. It is "only" 543 m high, but if you go down quickly you have to go back up again.
So if you ride the really beautiful trails all around, your legs will be challenged and you will gain a lot of altitude.
If you follow the FGW (Flowtrail) further you will come to the Püttlachtal and Pottenstein and it is worth it.
