Primeval menhirs and medieval castles and palaces are further evidence of 6000 years of history. Since Roman times, Yverdon-les-Bains has been a popular thermal spa and sought-after destination for wellness and relaxation holidays. But not only the well-known thermal springs, but also a well-equipped spa and a grand hotel from the Belle Époque contribute to relaxing vacations or successful seminars.
The thermal center of Yverdon-les-Bains was built around a sulphurous spring that bubbles up from the ground at a temperature of 29 ° C. The warm spring water has a healing effect on joints, respiratory tract and stomach, but also on the muscles.
