Built between 1802 and 1806, the classicist hall church has a hipped roof and a prominent west tower.
The altar, gallery and organ bear gilded applications.
The altarpiece showing the "Resurrection of Christ" is a testament to the North German Renaissance.
The organ was built in 1980 by the organ builder Karl Schuke (Berlin) in an existing historical case from 1809. The slider chest instrument has 30 registers on two manual works and pedal.

The St. Nicolai Church on Langen Straße is a Protestant church that is bright and stylishly elegant for inner contemplation. It was built between 1802 and 1806 as a classical hall with a hipped roof. Its west tower is dated 1818.

Worth seeing are the altar wall with four Corinthian columns, the paintings painted on wooden planks in 1580, and the gothic chalice from the beginning of the 14th century. While plain white dominates on the church walls, the altar, gallery and organ have gilded applications. The altarpiece "Resurrection of Christ" is a testament to the North German Renaissance.
