Geesow was first mentioned in a document in 1269. Presumably, with the development of the place, a stone church was built. Today's Geesow Church was built in 1911. It is a rectangular plastered building with a three-sided east end and a tower on the west side, which carries a baroque tower top. The weather vane on the tower is from the church building in 1749.
the first church in Geesow was built as a stone church in 1269. In the 30 Years War it was destroyed like the place. Geeesow lay desolate until 1723. In 1749 a new half-timbered church was built, which was demolished in 1911 due to dilapidation.
