A small old craft village in front of the doors of Växjö in Småland. Museum, tourist information and a small cafe, as well as a Restaurang there on site. Directly along the water there is a small path to the bird sanctuary, this leads over a cow pasture and therefore unfortunately not with dogs walkable. husebybruk.com
Companies, museums and associations work together along Bruksgatan, the main street through Huseby. In Huseby there are several buildings that were previously used as living quarters or for various types of work. Most of them are now museums where you can see and experience life in earlier centuries. Today's Bruksgatan took its shape in the early 19th century when the Counts of Hamilton had a number of houses built for their employed workers. Until the 1960s, Bruksgatan was the main road between Växjö and Älmhult and all traffic went through Huseby. Most of the houses now have artistic craftsmen.
