Beautiful church in the center of Harpstedt with a distinctive steeple. A previous building ("Martinskirche") was already mentioned in 1242. After a devastating fire in 1739, the present church was rebuilt in 1742 and consecrated in 1753. The tower was only completed in 1880. Immediately to the left of the main entrance are three old, discarded iron bells belonging to the church Around the church building is the so-called Christ Garden, which treats motifs from the Bible at eight stations.
