The way through Dammer Switzerland to this wooden observation tower with its 116 steps is worthwhile (if I didn't make a mistake) - not only with the MTB, although a good circuit doesn't hurt. Already destroyed once, it is fortunate that the tower with its impressive height of 20 meters has been revived through a private initiative. The view at treetop height is great, even if I could now imagine 5 meters more. But you know: higher - faster - further ... In any case, you don't just look down to the dumber. The view over the southern district of Vechta is wonderful in all directions. At the foot of the tower there is another highlight, the sculpture path with its funny steel figures.
