In the Oppenheim basement labyrinth you can experience 1,000 years of history at your fingertips. The "city under the city" is connected by numerous corridors, rooms and stairs and once served as a hiding place, camp or escape option in times of war.
Today you can visit the labyrinth as part of two tours.
Opening hours:
March to October: Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
November to February: Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed on Sundays

Next to the town hall in the Tourist Info (Merianstr. 2) you can book tickets for a guided tour. There are several guided tours every day. Very entertaining and interesting.

Absolutely recommendable, in every season, whereby I prefer to enjoy the cool on a hot summer day! Tip: Ask for the "photo with the police car" and the "earthquake measuring station" ... Have fun!
