Panorama: when the weather is clear, a comprehensive view of the Franconian countryside: to the north to the Hohe Rhön to the Kreuzberg, to the east to the Hassberge and the Steigerwald and to the west to the Spessart

Nature: Most of the Sodenberg now belongs to the Rhön Nature Park; In the direction of Weickersgrüben there is the Spessart Nature Park. Rare plant species are native here, such as March cups, pasque flowers and the strictly protected Adonis florets (adonis vernalis), which transform the otherwise barren landscape into a sea of flowers in spring. The Sodenberg also offers a habitat for numerous breeding bird species, butterflies, grasshoppers and other animals.
