Potoški Stol is located between Stol and Vajnež on the border with Austria. Just a few meters below the grassy top is a cross. The view is the most beautiful on the neighboring chair which we see from the west. Part of Stol's north wall can also be seen. To the left of Stol, much lower, we notice Celovška koča on the Austrian side and above it the Ovčji vrh. To the north we see Austria with the Drava valley and a little further to the left Vajnež and part of the rest of the western Karavanke. On the Slovenian side, you can see the Julian Alps and almost the entire Gorenjska region with Lake Bled below us.
