The Grugapark is Essen's green oasis. This is where people come together to let off steam in the play and sports fields, relax in the thermal baths, marvel at the botanical garden, stop off at the restaurant or attend the numerous open-air events. A unique place that is definitely worth a longer visit and offers the right activity for every weather.

The Grugapark Essen emerged from the Great Ruhrland Horticultural Exhibition in 1929 and, with its 600,000 square meters, is certainly one of the largest and most attractive amusement parks in Europe.
