Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, Praia da Arrifana is a real haven for surfers. Surrounded by huge and steep cliffs, the 500 meter long beach seems to be protected from all the elements.

Praia da Arrifana is located in a bay surrounded by a high cliff, into which the houses fit harmoniously almost all the way down to the sea. The most beautiful view of the bay is from the ruins of the former fortress.
