The idyllic island of Karsibór (Kaseburg) is one of the popular destinations of the spa town Świnoujście (Swinemünde).
It was part of the larger island of Usedom until the 19th century. Kaseburg only became an independent island in 1880 with the passage of the Kaiserfahrt, today's Kanał Piastowski.
A highly recommended area for a bike tour. The German side could learn a thing or two from the Polish bike paths (and the mostly considerate Polish drivers) 😁
