The Voltaire Way got its name from the famous French philosopher who hiked here in the 18th century. The path has history even further back, such as the Ice Age and Roman Age. You can find out about the exciting past on information boards and pillars. The Voltaire path leads through the beautiful forest and is not tarred, so it is more pleasant to drive with wider tires.
