        Sthov Monastery is underrated in my opinion. I find the church remarkably beautiful inside. The building itself and the monastery brewery together make it a must-see in Prague.

          It is said that over the centuries the Strahov Monastery has repeatedly been a place of resistance against various oppressors. One of the most famous stories is that of the monks who secretly hid religious books and scriptures in Czechoslovakia during communist rule to save them from destruction. These brave acts helped preserve the monastery's cultural and religious heritage.

          The flair in the Strahov Monastery is characterized by a mixture of silence, mysticism and history. The impressive buildings, including the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the magnificent Strahov Library, testify to the long tradition of scholarship and faith cultivated here.
