This is the first view one gets of Marseille across the bay when descending from the hilly road entering from the North-West Route Du Rove at the first parking opportunity. There is a little park and staircases leading down to lower viewing platforms and to the two beaches "Plage du Fortin" and "Plage de la Batterie"

Too much glass on the road, breathtaking view for sure but dangerous section with risk of puncture on this suburban route, that said getting out of the most chaotic and dirty city in the country, it's still nice even if the shoulders are strewn with rubbish.
