The Moselle Cycle Path begins in Metz, France, and ends in Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate. In between, the cycle path meanders for around 310 kilometers through the foothills of the Eifel and Hunsrück - always along the river that gives it its name. It's definitely going to be international. The Moselle has its source in the French Vosges, touches the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and, after around 550 kilometers, flows into the Rhine at the Deutsches Eck.

The Moselradweg is a well-known cycle route along the Moselle, which starts in France and goes via Luxembourg to Germany and ends in Koblenz. The Moselradweg is 311 kilometers long, the largest part of which (239 kilometers) is in Germany. This cycle route along the Moselle is part of the international route 'Euro Velo Moselle' and is very popular with cycling enthusiasts because of the varied landscape and the beautiful Moselle towns.
Because the Moselradweg runs for the most part along the river, cyclists who want to cycle along the Moselle do not have to bridge too much difference in height. If you follow the route of the Moselradweg downstream, you descend a total of 560 meters and have to climb 430 meters. In addition, the vast majority is also asphalted and the Moselradweg is also well suited for cycling holidays for the whole family.
Along the Moselradweg there are excellent catering establishments and accommodation options for every taste and budget. Many accommodations are particularly bicycle-friendly and focus on the specific needs of cyclists. More than 200 'Bett + Bike' companies are located along the banks of the Moselle. It is a beautiful route to cycle if you love nature, culture and wine!
