A relic of the Cold War, now a "Lost Place": at the beginning of the 1960s, NATO stationed in Blomberg a Hawk-equipped Dutch air defense unit. One of several permanently extended positions was here on the Mörth.
Today, the terrain is passable, but at first glance does not remind you much of the military past.

It is a former Dutch HAWK position 328 Sqn of the 3rd GGW.

As on many mountains in the Weser Uplands, there are also remains of the old rocket positions of the HAWK belt. However, you can only see the foundations and the asphalt and concrete streets & Co. as well as individual remains of buildings.
