The port of Nuremberg (own name bayernhafen Nuremberg) is an inland port and freight transport center (GVZ) on the Main-Danube Canal in the south of the city of Nuremberg.

The management and operating company is the Hafen Nürnberg-Roth GmbH. With an annual throughput of approximately 15 million tonnes, GVZ is the largest and most important multifunctional freight transport and logistics center in southern Germany. In a survey of the German GVZ society, which is to determine Europe's best freight transport centers, the GVZ Nuremberg ranks third. The trimodal GVZ is directly connected to the transport modes road, rail and waterway and links these infrastructures for multimodal transport chains. The water area in the port area amounts to 23.4 hectares, it is distributed over the canal section as well as two harbor basins with a total of 5500 meters of wharfage
