The Punta Carena lighthouse is the second largest in Italy for lighting power (the other is located in Genoa), as well as being one of the oldest: the first time was lit in 1867.
In reality, the Lighthouse is not a real beach, but a rocky bay from which to dive into a clean sea. What makes it so long loved is the impressive silhouette of the lighthouse that stands out on the tip and the possibility of enjoying the sun from dawn to sunset.
