The Marienkirche in Suhlendorf in the district of Uelzen belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover. According to tradition, the predecessor building of today's church was built on a built in the 10th century of field stone masonry tower, which was converted in 1086 into a church.

St. Mary's Church in Suhlendorf was built between 1903 and 1905 in the neo-Gothic style and consecrated on November 12, 1905. It remains largely in its original condition, except for a renovation in 1964. The church windows and interior were restored in accordance with historic preservation standards in 2017 and 2024. The church is centrally located in the village, not far from the market square, and serves as a place of worship for the Evangelical Lutheran congregation.
