The almost three-kilometer-long and 1.5-kilometer-wide dam provides drinking water for more than 250,000 residents. Here you can enjoy nature and take in the sweeping views over the water. Unfortunately, swimming in the giant bathtub is not permitted. For hygiene reasons, no water sports are permitted on the Aabach dam. It is beautiful, however.

The circular path around the Aabachtalsperre – good asphalt path. A great thing for hikers, cyclists, racing bikes, skaters, etc.
