The Ship Inn is situated on the Leeds Liverpool canal just off the A5147. It is in a rural location with fantastic views. It has a large garden with a children's play area and a patio. It also has its own moorings on the canal for use by patrons. The pub was one of the first on the canal dating back to the seventeen fifties and has many original features such as an old cooking range inside.

In the summer they have an outside bar.

The Ship Inn is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy good food and drink along the canal. With plenty of outdoor seating and a wonderful garden. Well worth the stop
