Viewpoint above the valley station of the Magglingenbahn with a view of the city and the lake. A fire pit is available.
The first wooden pavilion, built in 1825, fell victim to arson in 1893. The new stone pavilion was built five years later in the form of an ancient Tuscan round temple. First with a copper sheet dome, which, however, did not withstand the weather and had to be removed.

Nice viewpoint above Biel. The small pavilion offers shade and it has benches to rest. You can reach it via various trails or stairs, near the Magglingen Bahn.
