A great view of the surrounding area in all directions. The food in the restaurant is ok. You can take your wheels in via the back entrance. However, we were up on Sundays, there were a lot of tourists and bikers and we had to wait forever for seats, 45 minutes for drinks and 1 hour for the food. If you are under time pressure, rather unfavorable. :-) The view from the terrace is cool, there's nothing.

The ascent on the north side of the Hoher Peissenberg is clearly more moderate than on the eastern flank.
A short distance in the forest you may have to descend on stony forest road and push.
With a cross road tire and good air pressure - no problem driving the section downhill.
In any case, scenic gorgeous.
