The idyllic Goppmann spring is located in the forest between Aurach and Elbersroth. The spring was named after a former caretaker from the area.

The way to the spring is signposted, but access on the way is only permitted for forestry operations. A few meters next to the path there is a parking space on the opposite side of the road. Here you can park your vehicle.

The water from this spring is virtually sterile and locals love to bottle it. It has almost the same temperature all year round.
So don't force yourself and just enjoy the fresh spring water!

In wet weather, the path to the spring can be a little slippery, so be careful!
