The Pulvermaar belongs next to the Holzmaar to the Gillenfelder Maaren. It is almost circular and has steep slopes. The last eruption is probably no more than 10,000 years ago. It is completely opened by a circular path and on the east side is a beautiful natural outdoor pool. Admission is 4 euros for adults in 2016.
