          On the Spanish side there are always gates in the street. I strongly recommend to wear the bike. Everything else ends in disaster.

            Of the. COL is from Banyuls from the last 200 HM really steep. About 15%. Appropriate consideration is advisable. Then you can take a good road through the hinterland to Espolla and then via Llançà and coastal road back to Banyuls. 70km, 1,000m

                The scenery is beautiful and there's surprisingly little traffic. On the French side, the top is very steep in places. This makes the descent very dangerous on wet roads.

                  The stones are not an obstacle. Cars even fit through the low-traffic route. Last 2.5 KM are crisp and pretty steep

                    It is the easternmost mountain pass on the border between Spain and France. It is a very nice and quiet port with beautiful views of the area. The two aspects are very different; While the Spanish slope is long and steep, with the last 2 km at 7%, the French slope is much harder and shorter, with 2 km at almost 12% on average.

                            The climb through Banyuls-sur-Mer smooth until the last km which is really tough. The descent towards the Empordà is beautiful.

                              Riding from the French side up the vineyards to the bottom of the climb you will have great views of the climb to come. The climb is steady with the last km or two being a bit steeper. On top the climb there is also a little refuge
