This white brilliance, hidden in the greenery, has already had several destinations. In times long gone it was involved in the management of the former lordships, later it was inhabited by the White Sisters of Africa and for several years the municipal youth service has been home here. The domain is used for many activities.

The Castelhof has played a very important role in the history of Sint-Martens-Bodegem. The Castelhof was the seat of the Dongelenbergse fief in Bodegem. It can be deduced from various writings that the Castelhof domain was already established in 1266.
It is located in the northwest of Bodegem. The castle has undoubtedly undergone several renovations over the years, including in 1642, the date that is now visible in the courtyard. The middle and left wing probably form the oldest part. It has not yet been determined when the right wing was built. On a map of 1713, the castle is built in an L-shape, so without the right wing.
