There's a Lower Canyon (it's underground, and you have to squeeze down through rather narrow 'slots' on chicken ladders - I'm not saying this is for those with claustrophobia) and the Upper Canyon, which we visited this time. They are unique, fascinating, and beautiful❗️
They're located on Navajo territory, and the Native Americans now charge a lot for entry 💵
There's a rumor circulating online that you have to reserve tickets weeks in advance (maybe that's true for the very best midday time with perfect light - but then it costs twice as much, namely $80, plus an extra $8 for the guide). We didn't reserve, were there at 9:30, and still got tickets for 10:00 😊

We visited Lower Antelope Canyon in 2009, and I couldn't say which is more appealing; each has its own charm! I've included a photo (the last one) ~ here you can clearly see how narrow the entrance is!
