Until the opening of the Eggetunnel in 2003, the railway line between Willebadessen and Altenbeken ran here. The track systems were dismantled, so that the route now serves as a forest path. The marked section is kept free by hunters through regular driving and occasional clearing and is easy to ride on the MTB. However, the railway line is often below the surrounding area. Therefore, even little rain quickly ensures a muddy, wet pleasure. So you should be prepared for that.
