The Leibersteig is not for mountain novices, especially not in wet weather and with moderate experience. For experienced users, however, it's a real highlight with lots of variety.

The Leibersteig makes the impassable terrain accessible on the ascent towards the Brandner Glacier. Set steps, some safety devices and ropes on the sloping sections secure the arduous alpine path and provide ample opportunity to take a look at the surrounding natural beauty.

Great alpine trail below the Panüelerkopfes, as a kind of "counterpart" to the Strauss-Steig.

Basically much harmless than this, but there are always a few places with crumbly debris, where a little caution is needed.
